Our Thanks to You!

William,

We at AJC Westchester/Fairfield very much appreciate the time you took during this very hectic primary season to complete the questionnaire we sent and meet with our Government Outreach Committee. Outlining your positions on key issues and those of particular concern to the Jewish community will help voters determine their candidate of choice.

We continue to disseminate the recording of your interview widely. I’m sure you’ll be pleased to know it is being viewed. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrRwleeLqI0

The rapid rise of antisemitism has shocked and deeply alarmed our community and even led many Jews to avoid wearing religious or cultural items that would identify them as Jews. As AJC’s groundbreaking survey, The State of Anti-Semitism in America 2021 (https://www.ajc.org/sites/default/files/pdf/2021-12/AJC2021StateofAntisemitisminAmericaReport_Reader-12.21.pdf) noted, voters (no matter their religious or ethnic backgrounds or beliefs) across Westchester are also concerned about escalating antisemitism and hatred.

As we discussed earlier, in addition to combating antisemitism in all its forms, and standing up to hatred, extremism and threats to democracy here and abroad, promoting Israel’s security and full integration in the community of nations, are our top priorities.

We thank you for sharing your views on each of these issues and remain a resource to you with information on these and related issues. AJC is a strictly non-partisan organization and we do not rate or endorse candidates.

Our thanks to you again,
Naomi Marrow
